To improve my Deflection Rate, can I only upgrade my shield? If I upgrade Bone Gauntlets and I'm wearing them, will that improve my Deflection Rate? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dexmorgan (talk • contribs) 14:44, 24 September 2008.

There is currently no upgrade item that will improve your deflection rate. Defense upgrades on your shield will act in the same way as they would on any other piece of equipment. The gorgon head is a magic defense upgrade item. Others have said that the etherial strings are also a magic defense upgrade item. Steel Reserve 06:33, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
