Tilleria herself pulled him back from oblivion... though his wretched new form (more toy than human) could be seen as a cruel joke rather than a reward.

Nezerath was once a kind and noble mage, living a reclusive life of study and mediation. However, in a mad lust for the power contained within the ten scrolls, Prince Lichder Ganthet had him abducted. Over the course of years, Nezerath was imprisioned, tortured, and eventually driven mad. Any actual connection between Nezerath and the scrolls is so far only know to these two parties. Having ultimately escaped via trubite to Gulgorn, Nezerath now lives somewhere beyond the known realms and returns periodically in an attempt to destroy anyone who possesses (or even wishes to possess) the ten scrolls. |
